Hugh Randall Darts, 46, of Warren, Pa., died at home on June 28, 2021.
Hugh was born Dec. 12, 1974, in Warren, the son of Randall Darts of Warren, and the late Rolunda (Ronnie) Barrett Darts.
He was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Eisenhower High School. He also attended Warren Area High School.
Hugh enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country for 20 years as a heavy aircraft mechanic. Hugh was the recipient of the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Meritorious Unit Award, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 10 oak leaf Clusters, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 6 oak leaf Clusters, The National Defense Service Medal with 1 Service Star, the Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Overseas Ribbon Long with 1 oak leaf.
Hugh was extremely active at and served on the board of directors of Liberty’s Way in Lander, Pa.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, hiking and camping. He loved animals and people alike and was always willing and ready to help others whenever was needed. Hugh had a heart of gold. He loved his family, his children were his world and he glowed for them and with them through each life achievement that they accomplished. He cherished his family and his friends above all.
Hugh is survived by his wife, Genna L. Conklin Darts of Warren; four children: McKenna Darts and boyfriend, William Huling, Warren, Morgan Darts of Warren, Emily Darts and her fiance, Desirae Mcmillen of Warren, and Rage Brutto of Warren; a sister, Tera Darts and companion, Jim Fransisco of Busti, N,Y,; a brother, Robert Darts and wife, Shelly of Russell, Pa.; one grand-daughter, Isabella Huling; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Hugh was preceded in death by his mother in 2017.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
